What happens if my link goes viral?

At Linkryse, we believe you should never be punished for success. If you launch a campaign and it goes viral, your links will never stop working.

Unlimited Traffic Guarantee

We separate Traffic (the user clicking) from Analytics (the data we store).

Regardless of your plan, your link will always redirect the user to the destination instantly. We do not throttle speed or block visitors, even if you exceed your plan limits.

The “Viral Spike Threshold”

While traffic is unlimited, storing detailed metadata (City, Device, Browser, OS) for millions of clicks requires significant server resources. To keep our plans affordable, we set a monthly limit on how many detailed logs we store per link.

How it works

Let’s say you are on the Hobby Plan (Threshold: 2,500/month) and your link gets 5,000 clicks in January.

  1. Clicks 1 to 2,500: We record everything. You can see exactly where these people came from, what phone they used, and which browser they prefer.
  2. Clicks 2,501 to 5,000: The link continues to work perfectly. We stop recording the detailed stats (Geo/Device) to save space.
  3. February 1st (The Reset): The counter resets to 0. Detailed tracking turns back ON automatically.

The Linkryse Difference: True Counts

Many other platforms “freeze” your dashboard numbers once you hit a limit. They might tell you “50k+ clicks” but won’t show you the real number unless you upgrade.

Linkryse is different. Even after you hit the Viral Threshold, our system continues to count every single visitor.

If your link gets 1,000,000 hits, your dashboard will show 1,000,000 Total Clicks—even on the Free plan.

Threshold Limits by Plan

PlanViral Threshold (Detailed Logs)Total Clicks Counter
Starter (Free)10 / link / monthUnlimited
Hobby2,500 / link / monthUnlimited
Pro15,000 / link / monthUnlimited
Business50,000 / link / monthUnlimited
Limits reset automatically on the 1st of every month. Note: The Starter limit (10) is designed for testing features; for live campaigns, we recommend Hobby or Pro.

When should I upgrade?

You only need to upgrade if you need the data insights for those extra clicks.

If you just want the link to work and want to know the total volume of traffic, you can stay on your current plan forever. If you need to know where those extra people came from to optimize your ads, that is when the upgrade pays for itself.
